The Director of Church Mobilization will provide strategic leadership and management to church mobilization representatives. Engage with the church and lead a professional fundraising team that focuses on attracting church partnerships for CRISTA Ministries with a specific focus on World Concern (WC). Share what God is doing through the ministry and intentionally invite churches into meaningful, mutually transformative partnerships, while effectively communicating the mission, scope and program strategies of WC. Build effective long-term relationships with churches to convert and maximize relationships into financial gifts that will ensure annual fundraising goals are met or exceeded to accomplish the mission of WC around the world.

Conduct and coordinate face-to-face meetings, communication and other activities with churches, pastors, staff and key individuals through providing personalized attention, spiritual encouragement, donor appreciation and strategic solicitation towards a mutually transformative partnership.
Initiate and develop church engagement strategies.
Identify, build and manage a portfolio of churches, organizations and individuals. Plan and implement moves management strategies.
Liaise with churches/groups that are holding fundraising events for World Concern, providing guidance, materials and support.
Manage church mobilization donor staff who support WC. Responsible for all operations, staff performance, work assignments, and workload capacity. Supervise work assignments and manage individual capacity.
Utilize Salesforce to manage donor records and activities and ensure that all data is inputted into Salesforce promptly and accurately.
Introduce and utilize WCs President, key WC leadership, board members and field staff to build a broad understanding of WC to facilitate deepening connections and transformational partnerships.
Work collaboratively with supervisor, coworkers, and customers.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Church Mobilization Representatives



A profession that Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior.
A lifestyle that is consistent with biblical principles.
Agreement and support of CRISTAs Doctrinal Statement.
Demonstrates the values of a CRISTA leader.

Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university recognized by the United States Department of Education or equivalent. Relevant work experience may be substituted for education on a year-for-year basis.

Five years of relevant work in the local church, church networks or national/regional ministry. Experience in preaching/speaking in public worship services, church gatherings, and meetings.

Microsoft Office Suite Intermediate level functionality, Salesforce

Strong understanding of the North American Church
Able to work 45-50 hours per week, nights and weekends to accommodate donor availability.
Articulate passion for World Concerns mission.
Excellent interpersonal skills with all age groups.
Manage multiple and changing priorities, while remaining goal-oriented.
Valid drivers license and a reliable vehicle.
Keep and manage records in an orderly manner.
Able to convert relationships to effective and sustained partnerships to fund World Concern in relationship with pastor, staff and/or committee members.
Able to travel domestically and internationally.
Participate as a team member by contributing in meetings, prayer, devotions, and other opportunities.


Masters degree in Theology, International Development, Missions, or Communications from an accredited college or university recognized by the United States Department of Education or equivalent.

Church executive staff (large church preferred) and/or international field experience
Five years of advanced fundraising and sales skills.

Proficiency with Salesforce software preferred.
